The voice booth, in Akkini red
Red light on, headphones up. The booth where every Akkini voice becomes a signal — photographed in the hour before a live show.

Behind every link you hear on Akkini FM there is a room in Zürich's Kreis 5: three doors, a console that never sleeps, and a wall of gear that has been added to one piece at a time since our first broadcast.
The control room is where the day is assembled — playlists, adverts, the drive-time news bed, the dedications that arrive by voice note from Toronto at three in the morning. Next door, the production room doubles as a rehearsal space when a guest artist drops in.
Nothing here is staged. This is the station exactly as our presenters find it when they push the door open at five in the morning.

Midnight to dawn: மெல்லிசை running unattended, the console glowing, and a city asleep outside the window.
